Opening hours
The Library of Economics is the University of Bern’s special library in the field of economics and business administration. The library is located together with the Centre for University Continuing Education Library on the third floor of the old building in UniS on Schanzeneckstrasse 1.
The Library of Economics also serves the Lernort Engehalde at Schützenmattstrasse 14.

Infrastructure
Together with the Centre for University Continuing Education Library, the Library of Economics shares the infrastructure of:
- 45 study places
- 1 meeting box (maximum of 4 persons)
- 1 query station
- 57 lockers
- Wireless LAN (network of the University of Bern)
- Printing/scanning/photocopying facilities (Uniprint device)
- 2 single-user accesses to Refinitiv Eikon/Datastream and CRSP/Compustat
- PC pool in Department of Economics for business, economics and social science students

Collection
The Library of Economics is an library whereby its collection is loanable and serves as the central specialized library for the Departments of Economics and Business Administration.
It ensures an extensive supply of literature and information in these subjects and covers the following fields in particular:
Economics:
- Micro- and macroeconomics, economic theory, monetary theory, theory of economic growth, econometrics, public economics, regional economics, international economics, labor economics, industrial economics, environmental economics, tourism
Business Administraion:
- Financial management, marketing, management and entrepreneurship, organisation, personnel, accounting, controlling, information systems
The collection of the library of economics can be borrowed.
