Information about accessibility

We support you in your research on the swisscovery search portal and the databases licensed by us. Swisscovery with the underlying software Primo currently fulfills level AA of the W3L accessibility guidelines (Link: https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/Primo/Product_Materials/Primo_Accessibility). However, as the University Library of Bern provides a large number of online services and electronic resources from third-party providers, we cannot guarantee accessibility.

The Swiss Library for the Blind and Visually Impaired provides media in various formats or produces them on request. Link: www.sbs.ch

Another option for thematic research is the accessible library catalog of Leipzig University Library. Link: www.ub.uni-leipzig.de.

The Bern University Library is happy to provide you with media which can be picked up. Contact us for individual research training or a literature service according to your needs.
