New Fiction
Our subject librarians publish a shortlist of new fiction in German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, and Slavic languages. The ensuing longlists covers the newly acquired fiction at the University Library.
Books can be ordered online, collected and returned at any local courier library.
Basisbibliothek Unitobler (BTO) provides a big selection of new fiction next to the information desk. These books can be borrowed for one month only.
Author readings
The series Text! - Berner Literatur im Gespräch hosts an array of Bernese authors. Our literary talks focus on their writing, their methods and their motifs, and they include short readings.
