Provision of Study Places

The Basisbibliothek provides about 80 freely available work stations in the reading room. These work stations cannot be reserved and have to be vacated before closing time.
Unlockable storage compartments are available - please refer to the information desk. 

Long-term Study Places

24 leasable work desks are available for students of the humanities and theology. For reservation or loan please refer to the information desk.

Conditions of use

The leasable study places are administered via the library system, therefore a student ID card of the University of Bern is required. The work spaces are loaned out for a period of four weeks. An extension of the loan period is possible at the information desk (maximum 5 times).
